Changes to the sides and rear include new ORVMs, a mild body kit, new rear bumper with an integrated spoiler and lower ground clearance. Compared to the regular Tigor, which measures 3,992mm length, 1,677mm width and 1,537mm height along with a 2,450mm wheelbase, Tigor JTP gets a lower ground clearance. Whle new bumpers could alter the length of the car by a few mm.

Interiors of the Tigor JTP will also receive premium features with revised upholstery with contrasting stitching and a touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

In terms of safety, the Tigor JTP will get dual front airbags, anti lock braking system, electronic brake force distribution, rear parking cameras, sensors and engine immobilizer.

Engine specifications on the Tigor JTP will be the same as that seen on the Tata Nexon compact SUV. This 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine will be tweaked for performance and will belt out 108 bhp power and 170 Nm torque. The engine will be mated to a 5 speed manual transmission sending power to front wheels. Fuel efficiency of this engine on the Nexon is ARAI rated at 17.6 kmpl.

Price of the Tata Tigor JTP will be higher than its standard model. With the Tata Tigor XZA top end variant priced at Rs 6.6 lakhs, the Tigor JTP could fall within the range of Rs 7.30-7.50 lakhs.
