Showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo earlier this year, the new Aprilia Storm 125 has now been launched in India. It is an entry level automatic scooter offering from the company. 2019 Aprilia Storm 125 complies with the new safety norms which are set to be introduced from 1st April 2019.
This makes it mandatory for all two wheelers which are powered by less than 125 cc engine, to sport CBS as standard; while two wheelers above 125cc will have to receive a standard ABS unit.
2019 Aprilia Storm 125 targets a younger and more adventurous set of buyers in the country. It gets sporty accents with a tall windscreen, 3 bright color options with matte finish, 12” alloy wheels and broader off-road tyres measuring 120 section in front and 130 section at the rear.
2019 Aprilia Storm 125 cc automatic scooter gets a 7 liter fuel tank. It comes in with 30mm telescopic front forks and mono shock at the rear. It will get mobile connectivity app available on Android and iOS platform. Via this app, owner will be able to access all scooter related information on their phone.
Riders will be able to find, navigate and find their bikes via this app. There is also a panic alert feature, which will allow owners to reach out to the register helpline number with current location and ask for assistance in case of an emergency. Riders can also search for petrol pumps, locate service stations and connect with customer care for a service booking – all via this app.
Aprilia Storm 125 is powered by a 124.49cc, single cylinder engine offering 9.51 bhp power at 7,250 rpm and 9.9 Nm torque at 6,250 rpm mated to a CVT.
