2019 Audi A7 Sportback bows in with new design and lots of tech
The car can be specified with dynamic all-wheel steering system which turns the rear wheels by up to 5 degrees.
The all-new 2019 Audi A7 Sportback with radical visual and technical changes has been unveiled. The stylish sedan is slated to go on sale next year. Inspiration for the exterior styling comes from the Prologue concept. The front fascia with signature single-frame grille, futuristic full LED headlamps and sporty bumper has a striking presence. The profile hasn’t been changed much and still remains as the A7’s best angle.
The drastic change comes from the all-new rear fascia which features a massive taillight system running across the width of the car. The system can play various light configurations. The rear also houses boot-lid mounted active spoiler which is deployed once the car accelerates past 120 kmph.
The interior too adopts brand new design with an extremely attractive dashboard. There are 3 displays in total including the Audi Virtual Cockpit. Needless to say, the new Audi A7 Sportback is packed with plethora of comfort and luxury features. The comprehensive driver assistance suite includes Audi AI which can park and drive out of tight parking spaces with use of radars and cameras.
Audi is offering a range of 4 suspension options including entry level steel spring suspension system, air suspension system and a sports suspension system which brings the ride height down by 10 mm.
The 2017 A7 Sportback is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 TFSI petrol engine which is mated to a 7-speed S-Tronic transmission. Powered and torque figures stand at 340 PS and 500 Nm respectively. Armed with quattro all-wheel-drive, the car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kmph in 5.3 seconds before attaining a top speed of 250 kmph.
The 2019 Audi A7 will make its sales debut in Germany by February 2018.
