2019 Bajaj CT110 launched with more power – Price Rs 38k

Bajaj Auto Limited has launched the new CT110 commuter motorcycle in India. The CT110 is offered in two variants – KS Alloy and ES Alloy, priced at Rs. 37,997 and Rs. 44,352 respectively. All prices are ex-sh.

The newly launched Bajaj CT110 is positioned between its smaller displacement sibling, CT100 and the more premium Platina 100. Bajaj CT110 is presented in colour options of Matte olive green (with yellow decals), Gloss ebony black (with blue decals) and Gloss flame red (with bright red decals).

It is designed to take on challenging road conditions and hence receives features differing from the CR100 with a large crash guards, rubber mirror covers and thicker padding on seats with contrasting stitching accents. It sits on semi knobby tyres and gets ground clearance of 170mm. It gets blacked out alloy wheels and mechanics and braced handlebars along with colour coded rim tapes and fork gaiters.

Bajaj CT110 is powered by a 115cc, single cylinder engine sourced from the Platina 110. This engine offers 8.6 PS power at 7,000 rpm and 9.81 Nm torque at 5,000 rpm mated to a 4 speed transmission. Suspension is via telescopic fork in the front and twin Sprin-in-Spring shocks at the rear. Braking is via 110mm drum brakes in the front and rear with Anti Skid Braking which is the company’s term used for Combined Braking System.

Bajaj CT 110 will compete with the TVS Radeon 110, Hero Splendor, TVS Sport and the Hero HF Deluxe in the entry level commuter segment. Bookings and deliveries of the Bajaj CT110 will be available across all dealerships immediately.

Bajaj Auto Limited has seen sales marginally up at 4,04,624 units in June 2019 as against sales of 4,04,429 units in the same month of the previous year. The company will now be transitioning to BS VI well ahead of the 1st April 2020 deadline.
