2019 Honda Amaze Ace Edition at dealer showroom – First look video

The 2nd generation Honda Amaze, showcased at 2018 Auto Expo and launched in May 2018 in India. It has seen outstanding sales over the past 13 months. Sales touched the 1,00,000 lakh sales mark this month.

In celebration of this momentous occasion, which is the fastest 1,00,000 sales for any car, in the history of the company, Honda Cars India has released the Honda Amaze Ace Edition.

Honda Amaze Ace Edition is based on the top of the line VX trim is offered in 3 distinct colour schemes of Radiant Red, Lunar Silver and White Orchid Pearl. 2019 Honda Amaze Ace Edition sports blacked out cosmetic accents and black alloy wheels to set it apart. It is limited to just 840 units and presented in both petrol and diesel engine options and priced from Rs.7.89 lakhs, a premium of Rs 13,000 over the top-spec VX variant.

The blacked out cosmetic elements on the Honda Amaze Ace Edition are seen in its black boot lid spoiler, seat covers which sport ‘Ace Edition’ logos, front lamp, door visor and door edge garnish.

Ace Edition badging is also dominant on the boot lid. Apart from these cosmetic updates and new color scheme, the interior feature list stays the same as that seen on the regular Honda Amaze. These include auto AC, rear parking camera and a 7” touchscreen infotainment system, etc.

Ace Edition is offered in petrol-manual, petrol-CVT, diesel-manual or diesel-CVT options. It gets its power via the brands 1.2 liter i-VTEC petrol engine offering 90 PS power and 110 Nm torque and 1.5 liter i-DTEC diesel engine which is capable of 100 PS power and 200 Nm torque.

The prices of this special Ace Edition ranges from Rs.7.89 lakhs for the petrol MT, Rs.8.72 lakhs for the petrol CVT while the diesel MT and CVT are priced at Rs.8.99 lakhs and Rs.9.72 lakhs respectively.

The first generation Honda Amaze was launched in 2013 while its second generation model came in May 2018. It was the second gen model which found more favor among buyers in the country, recording 20 percent higher sales as compared to its earlier counterpart. The second gen Honda Amaze is priced between Rs.7.89 – 10 lakhs and competes against the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford Aspire and Hyundai Xcent in its segment.
