2019 Honda Jazz Exclusive Edition arrives at dealer before launch

Honda Car India is one of the few car brands who managed to post an impressive sales growth in Jan 2019. This was thanks to their cars – City, Amaze, Jazz and WR-V. Now, to boost sales further, Honda is getting ready to launch Exclusive Edition of three of these cars.

Amaze, WR-V and Jazz will receive this new edition. WRV and Amaze will get this edition on top of the line VX MT variant (petrol + diesel). But, Jazz will only get it with VX CVT petrol. Honda Jazz Exclusive Edition has already arrived at dealership. Thanks to automotive enthusiast Anukul Sharma, we now have the first photos of this new car, which will be launched soon.

Honda Jazz Exclusive Edition will only be on offer with the top of the line VX variant. And that too only with CVT. No MT option will be on offer with this new edition. It will sit above the existing top of the line VX AT, which is priced at about Rs 8.55 lakhs, ex-sh. Launch price of the exclusive edition has not been revealed as of now. It is expected to be in the Rs 8.7 lakh range.

Speaking about the changes on offer with 2019 Honda Jazz Exclusive Edition, there are no changes in the front. On the side you can see black decal running along the shoulder line. Then there are new black alloys, exclusive to this exclusive edition. At the rear is a roof spoiler and Exclusive Edition badge.

Exterior color options include Radiant Red, Lunar Silver, Orchid White, Golden Brown and Modern Steel. On the inside there is 7” touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with smartphone connectivity, satellite linked turn navigation, voice command function, steering mounted controls, cruise control, black fabric seats, leather cover steering wheel and gear knob.

2019 Honda Jazz Exclusive Edition will see no change in engine specifications and will continue to be powered by a 1.2 liter petrol engine offering 89 bhp power and 110 Nm torque mated to a CVT automatic transmission. It will compete with the new Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20.
