New Mahindra Bolero City Pik-Up is available at a price of Rs.6.25 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The company says it’s pick up functionality is best suited for city applications. This is being attributed to easy manoeuvrability, stronger suspension, bigger cargo box, and reliable, high-power engine.
Mahindra City Pik-Up gets power from a 2,523cc, m2Di, four-cylinder, diesel engine that returns max power of 46.3 kW (63 HP), and torque of 195 Nm of max torque. The Pik-Up’s payload capacity stands at 1.4T. This is matched with an 8.7ft x 5.6ft cargo box for heavy load.
Designed for city application, Mahindra Bolero City Pik-Ups shorter bonnet makes for improved manoeuvrability on narrow and traffic heavy roads. Rear suspension is over slung/strengthened in form for higher loading capability on diverse road conditions. 215/75 R15 inch (38.1 cm) tyres are charged with grip, and load capability.
Up front are wraparound headlamps, and a stylised front chrome grille. On the inside is a dual-tone instrument panel, and comfy fabric seats with matching door trims. The co-driver seat is wider to make inter-city work trips comfy.
