2019 Mahindra TUV300 will be presented in five variants of entry level T4+, T6+, T8, T10 and top spec T10 (O). It will come in with new exteriors with a restyled front chrome studded grille, new bumper design, smoky headlamps and clear lens tail lamps.

It also gets a new design for the rear door mounted spare wheel, tweaked rear bumper and sleek looking roof rails. The TUV300 will also receive a new set of darker colored alloy wheels and a rear spoiler to enhance its sporty appeal. The TUV300 facelift will continue to feature a body on ladder construction and is the only sub 4 meter compact SUV to receive this layout. Below is a detailed video of the new SUV.

Interiors are also updated; not so much in terms of features but specifically where its safety equipment is concerned. It will continue to sport a dual tone interior with audio system, steering mounted audio controls and a 7” touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto. The TUV300 facelift will now comply with new crash test norms which come into effect in August this year. It will be seen with driver airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt warning and speed warning which will be offered across all five variants.

Mahindra TUV300 facelift, will be powered by the same 1.5 liter diesel engine, also seen powering its current counterpart. This engine offers 100 PS power and 240 Nm torque mated to a 5 speed manual. The Ricardo-sourced AMT gearbox will reportedly be discontinued with the update, which means that the TUV300 will come in with one engine and one transmission. There are no plans to introduce a petrol engine option.

It is expected that the Mahindra TUV300 facelift could see a marginal increase in prices considering its updated features and safety equipment. The current model is priced between Rs.8.4-11.04 lakhs. The facelift will continue its rivalry against the Maruti Brezza and the Tata Nexon.
