2019 Maruti Ertiga Tour M for taxi fleet launch price 8 L – Features list

Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced the launch of Ertiga Tour M today. It is the official entry of new gen Ertiga into the taxi fleet segment. Price start from Rs 7.99 lakhs, ex-sh. It aims to take on the Toyota Innova and the Mahindra Marazzo, other two cars which are also aimed at the taxi fleet segment of India.

2019 Maruti Ertiga Tour M receives a host of standard safety features. It gets dual airbags, reverse parking sensors, a top speed limiter to 80 kmph. It is also seen with seat belt warning, steering mounted controls, speed sensitive door locks and rear AC vents. Other features also include electrically adjustable ORVMs, a colour TFT MID and stereo with Bluetooth compatibility.

Second generation Ertiga MPV is ideally suited for use by commercial fleet buyers such as cab aggregators and taxis, etc. It is based on the mid spec VXi trim of the new Maruti Ertiga. Below are the detailed set of features on offer with Maruti Ertiga Tour M 2019.

The Ertiga Tour M is powered exclusively by a petrol engine. This new 1.5 liter petrol engine offers 105 PS power and 138 Nm torque with smart hybrid set up mated to a five speed manual transmission. The Ertiga Tour M will be found highly appealing to cab aggregators not only due to the fact that it comes in with a host of safety features but also that it comes in with low cost of ownership and a fuel efficient engine that offers 18.18 kmpl.

Maruti Ertiga is one of the best selling utility vehicle in India. It registers an average of 7,000 units in sales every month. With the launch of new taxi fleet variant, Maruti aims to boost sales of Ertiga even further. Apart from Tour M, Maruti plans to launch even more variants of Ertiga.

The company is also set to introduce the Maruti Ertiga Sport in a 6 seater configuration by the end of this year. This will be a top end variant which will come in with sporty body kit with bumper extensions, side skirts and rear spoiler along with faux skid plate, a new mesh grille, two tone diamond cut alloy wheels and full LED DRLs. The interiors will be in an all black color scheme with faux wood inserts on door panels and dashboard. It will be sold via Nexa showrooms, unlike the regular Ertiga and the Tour M variant, which is sold via the Arena outlets.
