2019 Maserati Quattroporte marks its entry into the Indian luxury car segment. Offered in GranLusso and GranSport trims, each with a fair share of exclusive features and state of the art interiors, is being offered in new colours and wheel designs along with a slew of exclusive interior design and comfort elements in quality material.
The very first 2019 Quattroporte GranSport trim will be delivered to an unnamed buyer in Delhi. It will be seen with distinctive exterior colors and new wheel designs while interiors will be seen with quality veneers and Pieno Fiore natural leathers.
It will sport a sculpted front end dominated by an Alfieri shaped three dimensional grille with vertical chrome rib elements. Exterior color schemes will include 10 new color options for the 2019 Quattroporte while two new tri colors include a Rosso Potente and Blu Nobile. There are also a range of alloy wheel design options which also include two brand new designs for the 2019 model in 20” and 21” sizes.
Interiors of the super luxurious 2019 Maserati Quattroporte can be noted with exclusive leather and veneer updates. It gains a redesigned gearshift lever for shorter travel and improved operation, full grain Pieno Fiore leather seating offering a soft touch and unique character to the interiors along with distinctive stitching accents on seats and double stitching on door panels.
The interiors are also seen in high gloss veneers. There is also a Harman Kardon Premium Sound system offered as standard along with a Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System as an option. It gets 15 speakers, mid range drivers and rear woofers made of aramid fiber while the amplifier is of 1,280 watt capacity. It also gets an MTC+ infotainment system now offering enhanced display graphics and improved climate control.
The new Maserati Quattroporte is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 turbocharged diesel engine with AdBlue technology offering around 275PS at 4,000rpm and 600Nm torque at between 2,000 rpm to 2,600 rpm. The engine receives Active Sport technology for the diesel exhaust system producing a distinctive Maserati sound. The engine is mated to an 8 speed ZF gearbox with automatic or manual mode with the turn of the lever while the new P button set the transmission in parking mode.
