Skoda Octavia Onyx is now available at an introductory ex-sh price of Rs 19.99 lakhs for the 1.8 TSI (DSG) variant. The 1.8 TSI (DSG) model costs Rs 21,99,599. All prices are ex-sh.
In the variant range, both vehicles sit aligned to the entry price point of DSG variants, but keep in mind that these are but introductory offers. In its Onyx avatar, Octavia is available in in three colour choices – Candy White as well as the all-new Race Blue and Corrida Red.
Before Octavia Onyx, the most affordable DSG petrol was priced at Rs 20.6 lakhs and the most affordable DSG diesel was priced at Rs 23 lakhs. This means that the launch of Onyx Octavia edition has resulted in DSG Octavia entry price being reduced by Rs 60k for petrol and Rs 1 lakh for diesel. All prices are ex-sh.
Powering the Skoda Octavia Onyx is a 1.8 liter petrol 4 cylinder TSI engine which delivers 180 PS power and 250 Nm torque. It is mated 7 speed DSG automatic transmission. This translates into 0-100 kmph sprint time of 7.7 seconds and a top speed of 233 kmph. Mileage claimed is 15.1 kmpl.
Speaking about the diesel engine, this is a 2 liter 4 cylinder TDI mill, which generates 143 PS and 320 Nm. It is mated to 6 speed DST. 0-100 kmph is achieved in 9.2 seconds, while it has a top speed of 213 kmph. Mileage claimed is 19.5 kmpl.
Speaking about features on offer with Skoda Octavia Onyx edition – it gets distinctive all-black design elements, Quadra headlamps with CystalGlo LED DRLs, 16 inch Premia alloy wheels, SuperSport flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle-shift and perforated leather, twelve-way electrically-adjustable driver and front passenger seats, six airbags, ABS, ESC, EBD, MBA, MKB, ASR, EDL, 8 inch touchscreen, etc.
