2019 Suzuki GSX-S750 launched in two new colours with minor price hike

Launched last year, Suzuki GSX-S750 has already amassed considerable fan following with its beastly profile, advanced features and sophisticated fly-by-wire technology. To improve its appeal even further, Suzuki has launched 2019 version of GSX-S750, which comes in two new colour options. Apart from the new colours, there are very little changes to 2019 Suzuki GSX-S750.

Earlier colour options were Metallic Triton Blue/Glass Sparkle Black and Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Daring Red. These have now been replaced with Metallic Mat Black and Pearl Glacier White colour options. Both colour themes come with striking graphics that further accentuate the bike’s predator profile. Metallic Mat Black colour theme has graphics done in contrasting blue, as seen on the fairing, belly pan and rim linings. Pearl Glacier White colour theme combines black and blue elements to give the bike a nifty futuristic flavour.

Both colour options look attractive, but Metallic Mat Black is the one to fall in love with. The combination of black and blue immediately grabs your attention and appeals to your senses. Suzuki is hopeful that the new colour options will help push sales even further.

Mr. Devashish Handa, Vice-President, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd said, “We are delighted to bring the 2019 edition of GSX-750 in two new color schemes along with the exciting graphics to build up the style quotient and make it more appealing. We are confident that the exclusivity and the new style will enhance the charisma of the apex predator rider. Since its launch last year, Suzuki GSX-S750 has received an overwhelming response and we wish to continue the momentum with the latest offering.”

Apart from GSX-S750, Suzuki has V-Strom 650 in the 500-800 cc segment. Sales for both stood at 206 units this financial year, which is quite good as compared to last financial year when sales were nil. Except the new colour options, there are no major changes in 2019 Suzuki GSX-S750. It continues to use the powerful 749 cc 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that generates 114 hp of max power at 10,500 rpm and 81 Nm torque at 9,000 rpm. Engine is mated to a 6-speed constant mesh transmission.

Key features in 2019 Suzuki GSX-S750 include 3-mode traction control system, Nissin-sourced ABS system, low RPM assist, and fully digital LCD instrument panel. Price of 2019 Suzuki GSX-S750 has increased marginally by Rs 1000-1500, which is negligible for a bike that costs Rs 7,46,513. Suzuki’s upcoming plans for India include Gixxer 250, which will be unveiled in May. An update of 150 cc Gixxer is also on the cards.
