Over the last few weeks, Tata Motors has regularly given updates to almost all their cars on sale in India. Be it the Dark Edition of Harrier or the 2019 Nexon Kraz or the launch of PRO package for their five cars (Hexa, Harrier, Nexon, Tiago, Tigor).
In addition to launching new updates, the company is also giving huge discounts of up to Rs 1.8 lakhs on all their cars. Tata Motors is trying everything possible to boost sales. Next update coming from Tata Motors, is for their best selling car, Tiago.
Tata Motors is getting ready to launch 2019 Tata Tiago Wizz Edition. The new 2019 variant of Tiago Wizz will be launched on 3rd October. This is not the first time Tata Motors is launching Wizz edition of Tiago. They had launched the same back in 2017 as well. At that time it was seen with red body colour with black roof and red accents.
This time around, it will be offered in an exclusive colour of titanium grey with black roof. Tata Motors has given the car orange accents. The orange accent is seen on the front grille, on the ORVM and the new design DurAlloy wheels. DurAlloy wheels are not alloys. These are steel wheels which are painted black and given a smart cover to make it look like alloys. These were first seen on the Tiago NRG.
There will also be Wizz badging on the exterior, to differentiate this limited edition Tiago from other variants of Tiago. On the inside as well, the dual colour combination will be seen. The interiors get premium fabric seats with orange deco-stitch, grey gear shift bezel, grey air vent bezel, orange side and center air vent ring, and granite black inner door handle.
Powering the new Tata Tiago Wizz is the same 1.2 liter petrol BS4 engine with 3 cylinders. It delivers 84 hp and 114 Nm. Transmission is taken care by 5 speed gearbox while mileage claim stands at 23.84 kmpl. Tiago Wizz will only be offered in petrol manual. It will not get diesel engine option nor the AMT gearbox.
Safety features on offer include dual front airbags, seat belt warning, speed sensor, parking sensors at the rear, ABS with EBD, engine immobilizer, central locking, manual AC, height adjustable driver seat, etc. Price of 2019 Tata Tiago Wizz Edition is expected to be in the Rs 5 lakh range.
Tata Motors is also working on the launch of facelifted Tiago, Nexon, Tigor. These three will get revised styling and updated BS6 engine options. Launch of BS6 Tiago, Nexon, Tigor is expected to take place early next year.
