2019 Triumph Tiger 800 XCa top of the line variant India launch price Rs 15.17 L

Triumph Tiger 800, a highly acclaimed adventure motorcycle in the world, made its way to India last year. But, without the top of the line XCa trim. Today, that trim was added to the India lineup of Tiger 800 family. Priced at Rs.15,15,700, the new Tiger 800 XCa is positioned above the XCx in the Tiger 800 family, that also consists of the XR and XRx.

Tiger 800 XCa gets adventure touring oriented features. It is a highly advanced machine in terms of technology. Its engine gets updated to offer more power and better performance, making it the most advanced Tiger 800 as on date. This new flagship model in Triumph Tiger 800 is priced at a premium of Rs.1.13 lakhs over the Tiger XCx, which carries a price tag of Rs.14.03 lakhs. It gains features such as all LED lighting, all color TFT display screens and three more display styles taking total to six.

Triumph 800 XCa is offered in six riding modes of Off-Road Pro, Road, Rain, Off-Road, Sport and Rider programmable as against 5 modes seen on the XCx and also gains in tour oriented features such as a heated seat, sump and radiator guards, LED auxiliary lamps, switchable ABS, traction control and a center stand. It receives high spec Brembo front brakes, handlebar mounted switches and a stronger chassis along with premium body work and an updated cruise control system.

The Tiger 800 XCa also receives 43mm adjustable WP upside down forks with 220mm wheel travel and adjustable WP monoshock at the rear with 215 mm wheel travel. Braking is via twin 305mm disc brakes with Brembo calipers in the front and 210mm rear disc brake with Nissin calipers. The Tiger 800 XCa sits on 21” front and 17” rear wheels fitted with off-road spec 90/90-21 and 150/70 R17 tyres ,all of which combine to enhance its off-roading performance.

Triumph Tiger 800 XCa is powered by a 800cc inline 3 cyl, liquid cooled engine with ride by wire electronic throttle control. It offers 95 PS power at 9,500 rpm and 79 Nm torque at 8,050 rpm via 6 speed gearbox. The new Tiger 800 XCa arrives in India via the CBU route. It will compete with the BMW 850 GS, Honda Africa Twin, Ducati Multistrada 950, and Kawasaki Versys 1000.
