Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2020 — the 15th edition of the country’s biggest automotive showcase and experience show — is scheduled from 7-12 February 2020, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. The inauguration ceremony of the biennial automotive event will take place on 6th February 2020.

Auto Expo 2020, jointly organised by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII); will showcase the best of India’s automotive market. The theme of the 15th edition is ‘Explore the World of Mobility’.

As the theme implies, Auto Expo 2020 will be heavily concentrated on future-generation automobiles that are aimed to provide ‘cleaner, safer, connected, shared and bespoke’ means of transportation. This essentially means that we will be able to see a lot of EVs, self-driving vehicles and revolutionary technologies.

In addition to this, Auto Expo 2020 will become the venue for multiple exciting launches, unveils and showcases by major automotive brands operating in India, across different segments. A good portion of them will be BS6-compliant mass-market passenger vehicles. Many automotive startups from across the stretches of the country will become an integral part of the biennial event as well.

Besides the usual, yet exciting, range of product displays, Auto Expo 2020 will showcase six special program concepts across six days: Enterprise Day, Goodwill Day, Family Day, Women Power Day, Green Day and Driving Experience Day. In other words, the event will be more than just a static display of automotive products and components.

Rajan Wadhera, President of SIAM, shares that the Indian automotive industry is putting the best forward to align with the aspirations of the country. He added that Auto Expo 2020 will showcase futuristic trends of the automotive market that encompasses multiple realms such as electric mobility, technology infusion and safety. Mr Waghera, who is also the president of Mahindra Automotive, feels confident that Auto Expo 2020 will open a new dimension for visitors and allow them to ‘Explore the World of Mobility’.

As mentioned before, Auto Expo 2020 will raise its curtains on the 6th of February. It will be open for entry from 7th (Enterprise Day) from 11am to 7pm. 8th to 12th will be public days; open from 11am to 8pm. The venue is spread across 2,35,000 sq. metres with an indoor area of 51,000 sq. metres. Tickets to the show are available on BookMyShow, at the venue or select metro stations in Delhi NCR.
