2020 Hyundai Creta new generation will be longer, wider and lower than the current Creta. The car spied, is most likely a 5 seater Creta. There is going to be a longer variant, which will be 7 seater. It will come with internet connectivity features, as seen in the Venue. Interiors are offered in two options – all black and dual tone of beige and black. With the cabin more spacious, the seats are now bigger, and offer better support. Soft leather touches are there all over the cabin. On the dashboard is a new, larger touchscreen infotainment system. Sunroof is larger than current Creta. Boot space too has increased.
Powering the new Hyundai Creta in India will be new BS6 petrol and diesel engines. These are expected to be the same which are being offered with Kia Seltos. These are 1.5 liter petrol delivering 115 hp and 144 Nm. 1.5 liter diesel delivering 115 hp and 250 Nm. Both these engine options will be offered with manual 6 speed gearbox as standard. Petrol motor gets IVT auto as option, while diesel motor gets 6 AT as option.

This engine is the most powerful of the lot, and delivers best in class performance. It is rated to deliver 140 hp and 242 Nm via either 6 MT or 7 DCT. Mileage figures of all engine options are in the range of 16-20 kmpl.
