2020 Maruti Dzire Facelift Launch Price – Rs 5.89 lakh to Rs 8.8 lakh

Maruti Dzire is the best selling sedan in India, which has now received a facelift and a new petrol engine

Maruti Suzuki India limited has launched new Dzire facelift. In its new avatar, 2020 Maruti Dzire Facelift wears a revised front front fascia with new bumper and grille design. On the inside, there’s wood finishing. Power comes from the next-gen K-series engine. New 2020 Dzire features cruise control and automatic foldable ORVMs with Key sync. In its segment, Dzire triumphs with 55 percent market share. That’s more than 20 lakh customers to date.

2020 Dzire facelift offers idle start-stop technology (ISS), exterior design update, interior tweaks, and new features. The next-gen K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT BS6 engine has a higher compression ratio, cooled EGR system and piston cooling jet for engine efficiency and friction reduction. Fuel efficiency is pegged at 23.26 Km/L in MT and 24.12 Km/L in AMT variant. Power output has increased to 90 PS @ 6000 rpm. The sedan is available in both, manual and Automatic Gear Shift (AGS) variants.

New Maruti Dzire front is fitted with a single aperture grille, and chrome accents on the lower bumper. On the inside, sits a 10.67cm multi information coloured TFT display. There’s a twin pod metre cluster, and wooden bits in natural gloss finish on doors and instrument panel. Dual tone seats make up the rest of the interior update. The 17.78cm SmartPlay touch infotainment system works together with a smartphone, vehicle and cloud-based services. One can access music, news feed, weather updates, and navigation with live traffic updates.

New 2020 Maruti Dzire is offered with electronic stability programme (ESP), and Hill-hold function in AGS variants. This identifies skidding, and counteracts it, preventing vehicle roll-back on inclined slopes, in stop-start traffic condition. Front and rear brakes are bigger in size to improve braking performance, and brake life. All variants feature dual airbags, pre-tensioner force limiter seat belts, ISOFIX (child seat restraint system) and ABS with EBD. The sedan is built on the 5th-gen HEARTECT platform, and is compliant with frontal offset, side impact and pedestrian regulations. Two new colours have been introduced to the lineup – Premium Silver and Phoenix Red.
