Hyundai Creta has been a roaring success in India. When the car was launched in the country, back in July 2015, Hyundai had stated that they expect monthly sales of about 5,000 units. But that has not really been the case. Creta sales average at 8,000 units a month!
Currently offered with 5 seat, unconfirmed reports now reveal that the next generation Hyundai Creta will come as a 7 seater. Though the details are scarce, it is also believed that the new gen Creta will also be wider and longer than the existing Creta, offering more space on the inside.
Offered in a price range of INR 9.33 lakh to INR 14.65 lakh as of today, a 7 seater variant Creta will help the company widen their customer base even further. Hyundai can thus expect to attract customers who currently buy cars like Honda BR-V and Mahindra Scorpio.
As far as design is concerned, new generation Creta will get a cascading grille in the front, very much like the new Hyundai Grand i10 which made global debut at the Paris Motor Show few weeks ago. This new grille design is the future of all Hyundai models.
As of now, Hyundai is getting ready to unveil the facelift version of Creta SUV. This will happen in Brazil in the coming days at the Sao Paulo Motor Show.
