2023 Hyundai i10 has been updated in the UK with a facelift, new features and variants. Thanks to this update, it is no longer on offer in the sub-15k GBP price. 2023 Hyundai i10 prices start from 15,420 GBP (Rs. 15.71 lakh) for Advance trim and top-spec N Line trim costs 18,020 GBP (Rs. 18.36 lakh).

In terms of design changes, most of it is limited to front fascia and a few other bits. All three powertrains have been carried over as they were. When compared to the 12,495 GBP (Rs. 18.36 lakh) price tag of SE trim with steel wheels at launch in 2020, prices are increased considerably.

With the facelift, Hyundai has introduced new nomenclature with i10 trim levels as well. Adventure trim now replaces SE Connect, and in the mid, we have Premium trim and top-spec space is occupied by N Line trim.

The main reason attributed to this new price hike is likely to be EU’s new GSR2 safety norm compliance. This compliance mandates a slew of driver assistance (ADAS) features like forward collision assistance, lane keep assistance, intelligent speed limit assistance, and a few more as standard features. Yes, Hyundai now offers ADAS features on the new i10 2023 model.

Changes With Hyundai i10 Facelift In UK

India-spec Grand i10 NIOS and Britain-spec i10 are almost similar vehicles, sans a few structural compliances that Euro-spec cars get as standard. Design-wise, not a lot is different. Main differences are in the grille, lending a new face, for facelifted models in the UK.

The mesh-effect grille and quad LED DRL effect complement each other nicely. Lower part of the front grille opens in the other direction, creating an hourglass shape. With the top-spec N Line model, the front grille is even larger and is a single-piece unit, flanked by two black elements housing fog lights. DRLs on N Line is similar to the logo of a popular sports shoes brand

At the rear, there are Y-shaped LED elements offered with the facelifted model. These look plain-jane as opposed to the connected LED bar-effect tail lights Grand i10 NIOS gets in India. 15” and 16” alloys with lower and higher trims respectively, get refreshed as well.
