Isuzu V-Cross pickup truck gets new Valencia Orange youthful shade – Takes total colour palette to 8
As part of MY2023 update, Isuzu is offering its PV and CV lineup with RDE-compliant powertrains. Isuzu powertrains got greener with this update. RDE norms compliance, E20 (20% Ethanol) fuel compatibility and OBD-II real-time diagnostics are part of the update as well. Along with changes in powertrains, there are new styling elements and features added as well. Isuzu’s CV lineup gets more updates than its PV lineup.
Isuzu India PV Upgrades – New Colours, Features
The PV lineup includes three vehicles. Lower-spec Hi-Lander pickup truck, V-Cross pickup truck and MU-X SUV. All three vehicles come equipped with a sole 1.9L diesel engine, made BS6 P2 compliant with this update. This 4-cylinder diesel mill develops 161 bhp of power and 360 Nm of torque. Isuzu offers 6-MT and 6-TC gearbox options and 4X2 and 4X4 layout options depending on model and variant.
Idle stop/start system, low friction tyres, and auto transmission fluid warmer with AT variants are offered across the PV range. Isuzu Hi-Lander is the least expensive personal pickup truck in India. It gets auto climate control and rear defogger as part of the new update. Hi-Lander variant gets a price tag of Rs. 19,49,900 (ex-sh).
Isuzu V-Cross gets a new Grey finish on its alloy wheels, Grey ORVMs, and some chrome garnish around fog lights. The new Valencia Orange colour adds a lot of youthfulness. There are now a total of eight colours for prospective buyers to choose from.
Notable features of V-Cross are ESC, TCS, hill descent control, hill climb assist, cruise control, projector headlights and more. Prices start from Rs. 22,99,900 (ex-sh). Isuzu MU-X gets a new dynamic grille. Price starts from Rs. 34,99,900 (ex-sh).
Isuzu CV Lineup Gets A Host Of New Addons
Isuzu’s commercial vehicle lineup is sold under D-Max brand. CV lineup includes regular D-Max single cab pickup truck body and S-Cab crew cab pickup truck body. Isuzu CV lineup now gets a range of exhaust treatment solutions to meet BS6 P2 standards. A-SCR (Active Selective Catalyst Reduction), LNT (Lean NOx Trap) and DPD (Diesel Particulate Diffuser) are some of the treatments.
Isuzu claims that its D-Max Regular Cab and D-Max S-Cab are the only ones in their segments to get electronically controlled Hot and Cold EGR. This is likely to be one of the contributors to achieving BS6 P2 standards. Isuzu is offering a new MID for its D-Max CVs to show DPD-related information as well.
Range level indicators for DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid), average fuel efficiency, instant fuel efficiency and DTE (Distance To Empty) are indicated too. Other notable additions to Isuzu CV lineup are a gear shift indicator, variable speed windshield wiper and AC fitment as standard with select variants.
Isuzu D-Max Regular Cab price starts from Rs. 11,09,900 (ex-sh). D-Max S-Cab variants price starts from Rs. 12,99,900 (ex-sh). Both D-Max Regular Cab and S-Cab come equipped with a sole 2.5L diesel engine. It develops 78 bhp of power and 176 Nm of torque.
