Nexon has been one of the, if not, the best-selling sub 4m SUV on sale in India. Currently in its 2nd facelift avatar of 1st Gen model, Nexon is among the most important vehicles for Tata Motors. The company has just launched 2025 versions of Tiago, Tiago EV and Tigor. Alongside these, 2025 Tata Nexon received some updates too. Let’s take a look.
2025 Tata Nexon Launched
With the launch of 2025 Nexon, Tata Motors has rejigged the colour palette. For starters, 2025 Nexon gets two new colours entirely – Grassland Beige and Royale Blue. Interestingly, Tata Motors has discontinued Flame Red and Purple shades from 2025 Nexon’s colour palette.
Notably, Purple was the launch colour and the one used on all marketing material. Now, Tata is using Grassland Beige as the highlight colour in marketing material and looks quite nice on Nexon. It reminds us of now discontinued Kaziranga Edition. Other colours like Pure Grey, Daytona Grey, Calgary White and Ocean Blue colours have been carried over.
Trim lineup has been rejigged too. Tata Motors calls them Personas. Smart trim, was discontinued in favour of Smart (O) sometime ago. Now, Smart trim has been re-launched and it replaces Smart (O). Tata Motors has removed a lot of variants from Nexon’s lineup, reducing the number to 52.
Price for 2025 Tata Nexon still starts from Rs 7.99 lakh (Ex-sh). Most of the variants continue as is. But Tata has upped features in select trim levels (Personas) to make them better equipped at that price tag. Smart+, Pure+, Creative, Creative+ PS and Fearless+ PS are the variants that get a bump in features.
New Features!
Smart+ trim witnessed the addition of wheel caps. With Pure+ trim, Tata is giving more meaningful features to up the value proposition. It now gets body-coloured outside door handles, a 10.2-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, a rear-view camera and auto-fold ORVMs.
Creative trim also gets a bump in features. Main add-ons include the 10.2-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 360-degree camera, cruise control and push-button start. The top-spec Fearless +PS trim gets a panoramic sunroof.
But the more interesting update was done to Creative+ PS. Yes, Creative+ trim now gets a PS suffix, which means it gets a Panoramic sunroof. Along with a panoramic sunroof, Creative+ PS trim gets a wireless charger, front fog lamps with cornering function, 60:40 split rear bench seats with rear occupant detection and a rear defogger.
