BMW India is launching the 2026 X3 SUV in the country on February 16th. Ahead of that, the company has opened bookings for this luxury SUV and it will be only offered in a sole M Sport Pro variant and the higher-spec 30 xDrive engine configuration. Let’s take a closer look at this upcoming luxury SUV.
2026 BMW X3 SUV Bookings
BMW has emerged as the leader in global luxury car sales, sidelining its immediate German stalwarts like Mercedes-Benz and Audi. In India, however, BMW is trailing behind Mercedes-Benz in numbers, but not by a big margin. The gap might get closer in time as BMW India increases its product offensive in the country.
One of the popular choices from BMW in India is the X3 SUV which rivals the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLC and Audi Q5, among others. The 2026 BMW X6 will go on sale in India on February 16th and ahead of that, BMW has opened official bookings of this mid-size luxury SUV which will start on January 30th, 2026 at 1230 hours.
Production of 2026 BMW X3 will happen at the company’s cutting-edge state-of-the-art facility in Chennai. Pricing will be announced on February 16th and it will be offered in one fully loaded variant. It will be called BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro. This strategy is likely to streamline purchasing experience for buyers.

This strategy might also position X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro at the premium end of mid-size luxury SUV segment. Where design is concerned, 2026 BMW X3 will get a sportier appeal to it, thanks to M Sport Pro package. A standout element of M Sport Pro package on X3 will be the illuminated kidney grille.
On the inside, 2026 BMW X3 will continue to be well-built and well-put-together with exquisite materials along with a host of features, equipment and creature comforts. Powering the 2026 BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro is a 2.0L Twin Turbo Petrol engine with a higher state of tune than the current 20 configuration. Peak power is 258 bhp and peak torque is 400 Nm, mated to a 8-speed automatic gearbox.
