In January 2026, several carmakers including Volkswagen, Toyota and Honda increased prices of select models. In a similar move, Citroen has announced an upward price revision for C3, Basalt and Aircross. Depending on the model and variant, prices have been increased in the range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 45,000. Citroen C3 new prices – January 2026
With the price increase, Citroen C3 is now available in the price range of Rs 4.95 lakh to Rs 9.45 lakh. Earlier, the C3 was priced in the range of Rs 4.80 lakh to Rs 9.05 lakh. The lower variants of C3, Live MT, Feel MT and Feel (O) MT, see a price hike of Rs 15,000. Only exception is the Live (O) MT, which does not see any price hike. This new variant of C3 was recently introduced by Citroen. The base variant of C3 is now priced at Rs 4.95 lakh, as compared to Rs 4.80 lakh earlier.
Prices of higher variants of C3 have been increased by Rs 40,000. The Shine MT is now available at Rs 7.63 lakh, as compared to Rs 7.23 lakh earlier. Citroen C3 Shine Turbo MT now starts at Rs 8.74 lakh, as compared to Rs 8.34 lakh earlier. The top-spec Shine Turbo AT variant is priced at Rs 9.45 lakh, as compared to Rs 9.05 lakh earlier. Key rivals of Citroen C3 include Tata Punch, Tata Tiago, Hyundai Exter and Maruti Swift.
Citroen Basalt new prices – January 2026
For the Basalt, prices have been increased by Rs 20,000 for all variants. New starting price (You MT) is Rs 8.15 lakh, as compared to Rs 7.95 lakh earlier. The Plus MT now costs Rs 9.62 lakh, as compared to Rs 9.42 lakh earlier. Citroen Basalt Plus Turbo MT is now available at a starting price of Rs 11.02 lakh, as compared to Rs 10.82 lakh earlier. The new price of Plus Turbo AT variant is Rs 12.27 lakh, as compared to Rs 12.07 lakh earlier.
Basalt Max Turbo MT variant is available at a starting price of Rs 12.07 lakh. The dual-tone version costs Rs 21,000 more, priced at Rs 12.28 lakh. Similarly, the price of the Max Turbo AT is Rs 13.34 lakh, whereas the dual-tone variant costs Rs 13.55 lakh. Citroen Basalt is a direct rival to the Tata Curvv. It also rivals other C-segment SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Toyota Hyryder and Maruti Victoris.
Citroen Aircross new prices – January 2026
Prices of Citroen Aircross have been increased in the range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 45,000. Lower variants see a price hike of Rs 20,000. The base variant, You 5S MT, is priced at Rs 8.49 lakh, as compared to Rs 8.29 lakh earlier. Aircross Plus 5S MT and Plus 7S Turbo MT new prices are Rs 9.97 lakh and Rs 11.57 lakh, respectively.
Prices of Max 5S Turbo MT and Max 5S Turbo AT variants remain unchanged, as these were recently introduced. Citroen Aircross Max 7S Turbo MT is priced at Rs 12.79 lakh and its dual-tone version costs Rs 20,000 more (Rs 12.99 lakh). Similarly, the Max 7S Turbo AT is priced at Rs 13.94 lakh and its dual-tone version costs Rs 14.14 lakh.
Citroen C3, Basalt and Aircross have the same powertrain options. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine generates 82 PS and 115 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.2-litre turbo petrol unit generates 110 PS. Torque output is 190 Nm with the 6-speed manual and 205 Nm with the 6-speed automatic transmission.
