Mahindra Auto is working on a new and updated Scorpio N SUV. This SUV has commenced testing and initial test mules were more or less the same as current model. Later on, test mules in more advanced stages of development have surfaced with more changes. The latest spy shots from The Car Show reveal in-demand features with Scorpio N Facelift.
While Scorpio N continues to be India’s best-selling mid-size SUV by a huge margin, Mahindra is striving to make this SUV better and more aligned with growing customer aspirations. Here is a glimpse at new in-demand features confirmed with upcoming 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift.

Scorpio N Facelift Pano Sunroof
Indian SUV buyers love sunroofs. Data and customer feedback has revealed this and more OEMs have been offering sunroof now, than ever before. Mahindra also offers a sunroof with Scorpio N, owing to its popularity. With the facelift, Mahindra is offering a panoramic sunroof, which lets in more light and offers an airy feeling.
This improves perceived space inside Scorpio N facelift’s cabin, amplifying the appeal of its already roomy cabin. Unlike BE 6 and XEV 9e, Scorpio N facelift gets a dual-pane panoramic sunroof which can be opened.

Enhanced Safety
In June 2025, Mahindra Scorpio N got ADAS Level-2 active safety system in Z8T variant that introduced Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Smart Pilot Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Assist, Speed Limit Assist and Front Vehicle Start Alert, among others.
However, it lacked 360-degree cameras that would help users to position this large SUV in its surroundings. Now, 2026 Scorpio N facelift has been confirmed to get 360-degree cameras where we can see a bulge in the ORVMs where cameras are housed. With these cameras, Mahindra is likely to offer blindspot monitoring feature as well.

New Design
The latest spy shots show that 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift gets a massive grille at the front, which extends way below, into its front bumper. The grill gets horizontal slats that lend a wider and more dominating look. There will be new LED headlight design too and Mahindra might offer cornering fog lights as well.
The wheels are still 18-inchers, but the design for these alloy wheels are completely new. On the inside, Scorpio N facelift will get a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Instrument cluster will now be a TFT unit, similar to the one seen in Thar Roxx. Cabin lights panel might be shared with the recently launched XUV7XO.
