2.2l Four cylinder diesel engine delivers 186.5 PS and 424 Nm torque, via either a manual or automatic transmission. Updates include a new front façade with new bumper, headlights and fog lights besides a well designed front grille and new mesh. The rear end gets new bumper and exhaust tips and a new set of tail lights with LED facility. New Captiva sits on new 18” alloy wheels giving it a sportier stance as compared to its earlier model.
Interiors are done up in new leather upholstery which is being offered on the higher end specs while the car gets a revised instrument cluster, ambient interior lighting, heated rear seats and dual zone climate control Keyless entry and start/stop features are also being offered. It will be offered in 5 color options, Smokey Eye Grey, Pearl White, Carbon Flash, Moulan Rouge, and Switch Blade Silver. In India, Captiva competes with Honda CR-V, Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner.
For security, new Captiva features 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill descent control, rear parking assist, rain sensing wipers, cruise control, and heated outside mirrors.
