New KIA Concepts for 2015 SEMA Show

It is at the ongoing SEMA Show, a show that allows manufacturers to showcase customized vehicles, that KIA is displaying four new concepts. Each of these concepts is completely hand-built and represents certain regions across the US. The 4 concepts are being presented along with Ballast Point Sedona and Soul Trail’ster Concepts, which were seen earlier this year at Chicago.

A1A OPTIMA

Reflecting the sunny state of Florida, the open top A1A Optima draws an instant attraction with its bright turquoise exterior. This convertible receives a shortened windshield while interiors boast of cream and titanium leather and comfortable bucket seating. KIA’s A1A Optima is powered by 2.0-liter turbo four engine capable of 245 hp output. Ride height in this four seater concept is lowered while performance is enhanced due to Ksport coilover sport suspension.

PACWEST ADVENTURE SORENTO

Directed at Seattle and Portland is the PacWest Adventure Sorento concept being showcased by KIA at the SEMA show. This concept is designed by LGT-CTS Motorsports with an exterior in a multi layered painting process with the use of pearls and candy paint job giving the vehicle an ever changing chameleon effect.

Chrome accents are painted black for added sportiness while the Sorento is fitted with twin LED low profile light bars mounted on a tubular structure on its front bumper and on roof rack. The V6 engine capable of 290 hp and 252 lb/ft torque makes the KIA PacWest Adventure Sorento concept an ideal off roader.

PHOTO SAFARI SEDONA

KIA’s third concept on display is Photo Safari Sedona built for a jungle safari. Designed to represent autumn being witnessed across many regions in the US, Photo Safari Sedona is also custom built by LGE-CTS Motorsports team. Fitted with tubular steel roof rack for mounting of DSLR cameras and high definition WASPcam action sports camera system, the roof rack is sturdy enough for supporting a photographer. For ride height to be automatically adjustable, the designers have installed Street Scene Speed Grille along with a Hellwig auto level 2,500 lb airbag suspension system

FORTE KOUP MUD BOGGER

Forte Koup Mud Bogger is fourth of KIA Concepts at SEMA Show designed by Lux Motorwerks. Purpose built for off roading facilities, the concept sports high ground clearance and modified fenders and side skirts.
