Jaguar India is currently hosting its multi-city drive program across India as part of the Jaguar ‘ALIVE’ Drive Experience so customers can drive Jaguar cars like F-TYPE and XKR-S in their cities. JLR operates 21 dealerships in 19 cities in India. Network expansion entails 23 outlets by FY end. In India, Jaguar Land Rover locally manufactures Land Rover Freelander 2, Jaguar XF and 2014 Jaguar XJ at its Pune plant.
The automaker is also hosting its Jaguar ALIVE Music Experience across cities to launch its locally manufactured XJ. 2013 year end saw Jaguar Land Rover report 22% sales growth.
Globally, Jaguar Land Rover’s Q1 results for 2014/2015 fiscal reflect 22% year on year growth with 115,596 vehicles sold, resulting in revenues of £5,353m for the quarter. Profit before tax increased to £924m for the quarter to refelct volume and revenue growth across markets.
Jaguar Land Rover Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ralf Speth stressed on the automakers commitment to inspire customers with exceptional premium vehicles.
