24th September 2014, Volkswagen is bring out new Vento facelift that has been expected since Polo facelift rolled out. Upgrades in the new sedan will be similar to what we saw in the hatchback, in terms of cosmetics as well as motor under the hood. New 1.5 litre TDI in Vento facelift will be mated to 6 speed DSG automatic transmission as well, which many have been waiting for. Lets see if Volkswagen adds more in 2014 Vento than we anticipate.
On same day, Renault is launching 4×4 variant of Duster, which off-road enthusiasts would be happy to welcome. Already available in foreign markets, All Wheel Drive (AWD) version of Duster will also get a bundle of new features that is expected to make it more competitive among rivals. Expect launch price to fall in range of Rs. 10 to Rs. 12.50 lakhs.

To keep competition high, which obviously relates to price, Mercedes Benz will assemble GLA at Chakan plant near Pune. Based on A Class platform, GLA will help the brand rope in newer audience and give them the taste of Mercedes, with a mix of petrol and diesel choices.
