Watch 6 year old Raheesh Khatri taking on a motocross track
Rahil claimed the record for being the youngest drag racer in the country last year, when he participated in the All India Biking Championships at the age of six. Now, he has also become the youngest drag racer in the country, again at the age of six. This is because he participated in a drag race at The Valley Run in Aamby Valley earlier this week.
While Raheesh is a regular school goer, a student of Army Public School and definitely does his homework on time, he spends his weekends at the I-Land Racing School in Wadala, Mumbai. He is also trained by his father along with coach Rustom Patel. He is the son of Mudassar Khatri, an avid rider and biker who owns seven bikes and has participated in multiple races.
It is his father, who presented Raheesh with a motocross bike when he was six. Since then, Raheesh has practised on his Yamaha PW- 80 bike and Kawasaki KX 65 and made it to the second round of All India Biking Championships. His idol, besides his father, are Valentino Rossi and Marcques and is determined to take his love for motorcycles further by representing Indian in the future.
