The 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulietta facelift is in attendance at 2016 Geneva Motor Show alongside the new Giulia sedan. The updated luxury hatchback features noticeable visual changes.
The front fascia is revised to adopt new burnished headlamps with carbon look treatment, reworked grille with honeycomb meshing, new bumpers with Alfa Red trims on Veloce variant, and glossy anthracite treatment for the grille frame, fog light housing, door handles and wing mirrors.
The updated UConnect infotainment system with standard 5-inch and optional 6.5-inch display are on offer. The new system also offers a wide array of value added LIVE services. The Giulietta Veloce is bestowed with leather and Alcantara seats with embroidered Alfa Romeo logo on the head restraints.
In addition to the wide range of existing turbocharged petrol engine options, the facelifted Alfa Romeo Giulietta gains a 1.6-litre JTDM TCT motor which is tuned to deliver 120 PS and 280 Nm of torque. Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a TCT automatic unit that drives the front wheels, the diesel Alfa is good enough to dispatch 0-100 kmph spring in 10.2 seconds en route to its top speed of 195 kmph.
