Akash Ambani, older son of Mukesh Ambani and Chief of Strategy at Jio, is the proud owner of brand new Bentley Bentayga, India’s most expensive luxury SUV. His younger brother, Anant has opted for a Rolls Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe (DHC). Both these models are exclusive and super expensive with the Bentayga priced at INR 3.85 crores while the Rolls Royce carries a price tag of INR 8.84 crores.
Speaking of Akash’s Bentayga, which is also the most expensive SUV on sale in India today, it was the optional accessory of a Breitling Mulliner Tourbillon watch costing INR 1.95 crores. Now, what happens when the full family decides to go out, together? Well there is convoy of luxury cars which public get to see.
Recently, Mukesh Ambani and his family were seen travelling in their uber-luxurious cars through the streets of Mumbai, escorted by Mumbai Police’s finest who themselves were seated in the BMW X5 SUVs. The convoy includes the BMW 5 Series sedan in the front, this is then followed by BMW X5 which has Ambani’s security in it. X5 can be seen with roof mounted flashers and police stickers.
Following the X5 is Mercedes S Class Guard, a car that is not only bullet proof, but also bomb proof. In this car Mukesh Ambani is reportedly seated with his wife Nita Ambani. Following the Mercedes is again a BMW X5 with police personnel. Following this is a Mahindra Scorpio with Police stickers. Following this is a Bentley Bentayga and Porsche Cayenne, in which Ambani heirs are believed to be travelling.
The Bentley Bentayga in question is of a British Racing Green color which was selected by Ambani Jr. from a range of 12 green shades. The car is finished with carbon fiber on door mirrors and has a host of other notable luxury features. It is powered by a 6.0 litre W12 engine offering 600 bhp power and 900 Nm torque.
Besides being the most expensive and the most luxurious, it is also the fastest SUV in the country allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.1 seconds. Akash Ambani is closely followed in his Bentayga by his PSOs in a Ford Endeavour.
Anant Ambani’s Rolls Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe (DHC), on the other hand, is priced at INR 8.84 crores. It comes in with a white exterior paint and red contrasting roof with black rims and white lip adding an overall unique appearance to the vehicle. It is powered by a 6.75 litre V12 engine offering 454 bhp power and 720 Nm torque and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.8 seconds.
