April 2014: Mahindra sells 15845 bikes and launches in Uganda

Speaking on the monthly performance, Viren Popli, Chief of Operations, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, “The Mahindra Centuro continues to drive our growth in the new financial year. Sales in March too were phenomenon wherein MTWL registered a 3 figure sales growth. Reaching out to a wider audience, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd has been concentrating on growing its touch points and dealesrhipos pan India. SM Auto is Mahindra’s 42nd dealership in Maharashtra inaugurated at the start of last month. Pan India network now spans over 1,000 touch points with 173 in Maharashtra.

Mahindra Centuro also introduced its new Mahindra Centuro TVC which focuses on its advanced features like the internationally patented Anti-Theft Alarm (with Engine Immobilizer) operated by the encrypted Remote Flip Key.

On 24th April 2014, Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited launched the Arro and Centuro, and powerful scooter Duro DZ in Uganda. Miracle Motors appointed as local distributorand has more than 5 years of experience in importing, distributing and selling motorcycles, motorcycle spare parts and accessories in Africa. It’s jointly owned by the Lake Bounty Group of Africa and Miracle Cyclo Limited. Prashant Rudrappa is Chairman of the Group, while Vijay Ravinath is the Chief Executive Officer of Miracle Motors
