CM Arvind Kejriwal asks Delhi Police ‘dhyan kidhar hai’, after his blue Maruti WagonR is stolen
This is the same blue WagonR which Delhi's current CM, Mr Arvind Kejriwal used extensively during elections.
Delhi Police has registered an FIR for a car which once belonged to Arvind Kejriwal. The car, a Maruti WagonR with the no DL 9 CG 9769, is registered in the name of Aam Aadmi Party. AAP had gifted this car to their chief, Mr Kejriwal a few years ago.
This car had received a lot of attention a few years ago. It was there in a lot of photos and videos. Mr Kejriwal used to travel only in this car, and no other car. Unlike his rivals, who were being driven in fancy big cars, Mr Kejriwal wanted to resonate his party’s sentiments among the masses by being a common man.
Sadly, the car was stolen today. It is still in the name of AAP, but Mr Kejriwal no longer uses this car. He uses his official car which is given to the CM of Delhi. “The car was parked outside the Delhi Secretariat. It went missing around 1 am,” a senior police official told PTI.
When the matter was notified to the Mr Kejriwal, he retweeted a tweet which was directed to Delhi Police, asking – dhyan kidhar hai !!
Maruti WagonR is one of the best selling car in the country. Priced at about Rs 5 lakh, it has been on sale in India since 1999.
