Hero MotoCorp is keen about its next phase of consolidation and global expansion. Newly appointed Ashok Bhasin will report directly to Pawan Munjal, Vice Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He will be part of the Leadership Team, Hero MotoCorp’s apex decision making body.

Ashok Bhasin has successfully led large business teams across countries and cultures in leadership roles across Sales, Marketing and M&A integrations. He has worked and lived across Asia, Africa, and US in varied roles across global consumer brands and businesses.

Hero MotoCorp embarks on the next phase of consolidation and will launch new tech advanced products with youthful appeal. He is pleased that Ashok Bhasin comes aboard at this juncture to lead sales, marketing and customer care function to consolidate the company’s dominant market position in India. He will also contribute on broad strategic directions. Vertical Heads in National Sales, Marketing and Customer Care will report to Bhasin.

Ashok Bhasin was previously heading Reckitt Benckiser operations in Central Africa as General Manager and as Managing Director, RB Nigeria. Prior to that, he worked with Whirlpool in several leadership roles. Bhasin has extensive experience in building and turning around business performance.

Other recent appointments at Hero MotoCorp include Dr. Markus Braunsperger as CTO from BMW, Germany and Markus Feichtner from AVL Austria to head New Engines Design and Development within R&D function. Rajat Bhargava joined the team from McKinsey & Co. to head Corporate Strategy and Performance Transformation function, and Sanjay Jorapur from Honeywell as Chief Human Resources Officer.
