British supercar manufacturer, Aston Martin unveiled an all new DBS concept at the ongoing classic and vintage car show at Lake Como, Italy. The new Aston Martin supercar in the images here is a concept of the next gen DBS sports coupe. Aston Martin has christened this new concept as AM310 and it currently on display at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este is one of the oldest and most famous car show for vintage and classic cars. From 1929, Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este has showcased some of the most exclusive cars in the world, annually. Traditionally, Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este has been known for showcasing classic cars, but from the past few years, car manufacturers have started to display their futuristic models as well. Aston Martin too had displayed their most exclusive and costliest car, One-77 first at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
Aston Martin has now unveiled their new DBS concept at the same place. Aston Martin is expected to launch a production variant of this DBS concept later this year before sales commence by 2013. Earlier last week, images of the same Aston Martin car had appeared over the internet while it was being tested at the Nurburgring.
As of now, Aston Martin has confirmed that this supercar has been powered by a 6.0L V12 and it has been built using a lot of carbon fiber. Other than this, there are no details revealed.
