Aston Martin Vanquish S Red Arrows edition by Q unveiled

Aston Martin Vanquish S Red Arrows edition is the latest bespoke model to be dished out by the brand’s Q special vehicle division. Inspired by the British RAF’s Red Arrows aerobatic division, the highly exclusive special edition has been commissioned by Aston Martin Cambridge.

Q will build only 10 examples whose design features mimic those of the Red Arrows fleet’s 9 BAE Hawk aircraft. Vantage Red Arrows is finished in bespoke Eclat Red exterior color (‘Eclat’ refers to the acrobatic team’s motto). Other subtle references to the aircraft include white and blue carbon side strake, union jack badges on the front wing (chin spoiler), carbon fibre roof with a pattern similar to the jets’s canopy roof, and titanium exhaust.

Inside, Aston Martin Vanquish S Red Arrows edition features One-77 derived steering wheel with aviation-inspired rotary toggle switch, pinewood green inserts that match the classic flight suit, Martin Baker Ejection Seat fabric, seat back with Red Arrows emblem and so on. The supercar also comes with 2 racing helmets that are finished in Red Arrows livery.

Owners of the highly exclusive model will also receive accessories such as racing suits, embroidered bomber jackets, build book, car cover and highly detailed 1:18 scale models of the car as well as the Red Arrows Hawk.

Aston Martin Vanquish S is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 naturally aspirated engine which is rated at 595 bhp and 630 Nm of torque. The car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kmph in 3.6 seconds en-route to its top speed of 324 kmph.

Aston Martin will sell 9 of the 10 units of the special edition to mimic the aerobatic unit’s fleet of 9 aircraft. The 10th example will be gifted to RAF Benevolent Fund which provides support to former servicemen, women, and their families.
