Audi has launched the new A3 cabriolet in India wherein subtle changes and feature updates are evident. With a price tag of INR 47,98,000 (ex-showroom), the Audi A3 Cabriolet is one of the most affordable open-top luxury car on offer in the country.
Speaking about design, new Audi A3 Cabriolet gets a new front fascia with new headlight design, new LED daytime running lights and a single frame front grille along with a new bumper. At the rear, it receives new LED tail lamps and fresh bumper while dimensions stand at 4,423mm in length, 1,793mm in width and 1,409mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase measuring 2,595mm while its soft Acoustic lightweight cloth top opens and shuts upto a speed of 50 kmph.
Interiors of A3 Cabriolet are seen with a retractable 7” display screen, MMI interface, 3 spoke multifunction steering wheel and Milano leather upholstery. Infotainment from a Bang & Olufsen audio system and best in class safety features that include 5 airbags, ABS, EBD, Audi Parking Assist with front and rear sensors are the highlights of the new A3 Cabriolet.
Audi A3 Cabriolet gets powered by a new 1.4 liter TFSI petrol engine capable of producing 150 hp power and 250 Nm torque mated to a 7 speed S-Tronic dual clutch transmission. This engine offers Cylinder on Demand technology that automatically shuts off cylinders when not in use at lower speeds. This not only aids in lower emissions but also contributes to better fuel efficiency which Audi India claims at 19.20 kmpl.
