Audi A3 Carbon Edition launched in Malaysia at RM194k

2015 Audi A3 Carbon Edition

Limited to just 30 units, Audi A3 Carbon Edition arrives in Malaysia with a price tag of RM195k.

Audi Malaysia has announced the new Audi A3 Carbon Edition in a special shade of Glacier White. This limited edition A3 is fitted with Audi Genuine Accessories that include gloss black front lip, side sills and rear apron. Mirrors get a glossy carbon fiber finish while the model itself sits on new 18” matte black 5 arm rotor alloy wheels with carbon fiber tailgate adding to its sporty exterior.

Interiors of the Audi A3 Carbon Edition are finished in Alcantara/leather combination while on board safety equipment includes front and rear parking sensors along with keyless entry system.

Safety features also include start/stop system, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control (ASR), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), Anti lock Braking System (ABS) and a total of 7 airbags. Equipped with MMI radio with MMI controls and a 5.8” color display, the Audi A3 Carbon Edition also receives 10 speakers with surround sound.

Power to the Audi A3 Carbon Edition comes from a 1.4 TFSI engine mated to a 7 speed Stronic transmission. This engine is capable of 125 hp peak power and 200 Nm peak torque from 1,400 to 4,000rpm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 9.3 seconds while top speed stands at 212 kmph. Fuel efficiency is standard at 4.9 liters per 100 km while auto emissions are at 114g/km.

Audi A3 Carbon Edition is now on sale in Malaysia receives an exclusive number plaque depicting its exclusivity while prices stand at RM 194,333 (INR 30,12,399) as compared to the standard model which is priced at RM 179,900 (INR 27,89,316).
