Audi A6 facelift is set to be launched in India in a couple of days’ time and the automaker has been teasing the audience via a TVC and continuous stream of images on social media platforms. The refreshed sedan will offer optional Matrix LED headlamps that are found in flagship A8.
Apart from the new headlamps, A6 facelift receives revised front grille, bumper and new LED theme for taillights. Rest of the luxury sedan continue pretty much untouched.
Changes on the inside come in the form of improved seats and new dashboard trims. The MMI display benefits from a more advanced Nvidia Tegra 30 graphics chip. The European models also add massage and ventilation functions for the seats.

Enhancements are limited to what meets the eye. 2015 A6 for India would continue to available with 180 PS 2.0-litre TFSI turbo petrol and a 177 PS 2.0-litre TDI turbo diesel. Transmission is a 8-step Multitronic CVT.
In addition to the usual array of safety and driver assistance system, A6 sedan would continue to offer adaptive air suspension system as a standard fitment. Since there isn’t any mechanical change, expect the price to be hiked only marginally. Audi India’s locally assembled A6 facelift is estimated to have a price range of INR 43-52 lakhs (ex-showroom).
