The lighting technology seen on the Elaine Concept is digitally controlled Matrix LED units at the front and rear. Minuscule Digital Matrix projectors show off the road ahead and other road users are informed of driving modes and as to when the vehicle is switching to autonomous driving.
Safety features include more advanced Traffic Jam Pilot allowing the vehicle to change lanes autonomously. A faster internet connection, ability to locate free parking spots on the side of the road and to navigate handover zone is also seen on the Elaine along with the car’s personal intelligent assistant which responds to voice inputs, gets to know driver’s behavior, adapts the car’s functions to driver’s requirements and selects most preferred music, sat-nav and climate controls, etc.
Audi Fit Driver is a wearable device worn on the driver’s wrist that detects vital signs, such as body temperature and heart rate. It also detects fatigue and will then signal breathing exercises, seat massage and relaxing must along with climate functions.
