Audi India records 50% sales growth for April 2012 with 562 cars sold last month. When it comes to offering new vehicles, The Audi TT launch has been closely followed by the Audi a4 launch today. The sedan comes for a price of Rs 2,785,000 onwards (ex-showroom Delhi). Those apart, new showrooms have been opened in line with dealership expansion so as to reach out to wider customer bases.

The German luxury car manufacturer has had a great start to the year. The first quarter of 2012 saw Audi topple Mercedes-Benz from its second place dominance in the Indian luxury auto market. April 2012 has been as rewarding, with 562 cars delivered. This equates to 50% sales growth for the month in a YOY comparison with 375 luxury vehicles sold in April 2011.

For January to April 2012, Audi has recorded sales growth of 43%. The German luxury automaker has sold 2831 vehicles for these 4 months as compared to 1986 vehicles for the same period last year. The excitement that May 2012 has begun with will follow throughnext month too when the Audi Q3 SUV is launched.
