Audi and Marvel SteerTheStory Crowd-Sourced Digital Comic Book contest for fans

Fans will get a chance to decide the fate of Tony Stark in an exciting digital comic book series and offer their ideas for the future course of his adventures. Fans will need to log onto SteerTheStory and will be offered a chance to win an original art board signed by Marvel artists besides a chance to win a trip to Comic Con held in San Diego.

The contest was officially launched last week with fans of Iron Man getting a chance to vote via social media sharing on what Tony Stark should do next. Audi released a video showcasing all contest requirements while Marvel’s Editor-in-Chief – Axel Alonso along with editors Jeanine Schaefer and Bill Rosemann will be judges to all entries received and decide the final winners to this exciting contest. Fans can vote via mobile devices, tablets or their desktops for the first round of the contest

There are three rounds to this contest for which Audi will be releasing short videos offering fans a step by step instructions on how the Audi A8 and Iron Man’s helmet should be drawn using tools by Marvel artists. These second round results will be made known on April 22, 2013 for the second chapter of the comic book while a third chapter will soon be launched for which fans will be called upon for ideas. Iron Man 3 will be premiered on April 24, 2013 in Los Angeles while it will open in theaters on May 3, 2013.

Marvel editor Bill Rosemann said, “As Iron Man fans ourselves, we can’t wait to see the exciting and creative submissions from the Armored Avengers’ worldwide following.” “Just think about it: Not only do you get to choose Tony’s action at the end of each chapter’s cliffhanger, but you also get to jump up on stage and show to the world that you have the best idea for our explosive finale. It’s your opportunity to prove you’re the ultimate Iron Man fan!”

Iron Man 3 sees Tony Stark steering an all-electric Audi R8 e-tron sports car prototype. That apart, Pepper Potts‘ chosen drive is an Audi S7 Sportback. Film promotion activities will see Audi’s month-long late night television and national cable campaign. Only activity from the German carmaker has increased on movie portals. There is also an all-new Audi Marvel’s Iron Man 3 ad that’s being shown at cinemas.
