Audi new sponsors of European Champions Chelsea

Audi will be the official global car partners of Chelsea Football Club for the next three years. The German automakers have a long relationship with sports clubs and have had FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Bayern Munich as their clients. The deal which was formally announced on Friday sees the German automotive giant become the Premier League club’s new global official car partner for the next three years.

Speaking of these new developments Director Audi UK, Martin Sander said that both the companies stand for innovation and progressiveness. He is confident of their future success in the coming three years. Chelsea FC are the new champions of Europe as they defeated Bayern Munich last weekend in Champions League final played in Munich.

Audi AG is one of the world’s most successful luxury auto companies with record deliveries of 1.3 million premium vehicles in 2011 thus generating €5.3 billion in pre-tax profits. Sales in UK accounted for deliveries of 113,000 vehicles during 2011, an increase of 14% over 2010 figures.
