Not only it is a small SUV, it will also be the most affordable Audi SUV on offer once it goes on sales in a couple of weeks. Apart from that, it also gets petrol and diesel engine options, with Quattro 4WD and a slim, large infotainment multimedia screen which pops out of the dashboard.
Basically, Audi Q2 has all the right ingredients to lure away a huge chunk of entry-level luxury car buyers from the market, including here in India. So we asked Audi at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, when is the Q2 coming to India? Surprising as it may sound, Audi has no plans of launching the Q2 in India as of now.
The primary market for the new Audi Q2 is Europe, where it will be launched in a couple of weeks. To be offered in a choice of three petrol and two diesel engine options. The petrol engines are in the form of 1.0 liter 3-cylinder, 1.4 liter and 2.0 liter 4-cyl. Diesel engines are in the form of 1.6 liter and 2.0 liter four cylinders. Output of these engines ranges from 116 PS to 190 PS.
Measuring 4.19 meters long, 1.79 meters wide, 1.51 meters tall, Audi Q2 is the smallest ever SUV from Audi. It will sit below the Audi Q3 SUV in the company line-up. Though small, the Q2 comes with all necessary bells and whistles which a Q SUV is known for. More information about the Audi Q2 in the images and news release below.
