Audi Q3 facelift India launch in May 2015?

Upcoming Audi Q3 facelift will feature a distinctive front fascia with less chrome and new silver-grey surround on Audi’s signature single-frame grille. Headlamps are also redesigned and get optional LED lights. Accommodating the above is redesigned front bumper with typical Q3 character. Further enhancing the presence of Audi’s best seller are new alloy wheel designs, LED tail lamps and optional Dynamic turn indicators.

Earlier reports just narrowed Audi Q3 facelift launch to first half of 2015.
Features such as electric tailgate open and luggage compartment pack are available as option for European markets, but those will not be offered in India. No change in interior of Audi Q3 facelift will be seen, same rudimentary black panels from outgoing model will be used.

Same goes for engine options. Audi Q3 will most likely continue with same 2.0 litre TDI diesel engine producing 208 bhp max power, mated to 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. Q3 S variant with manual gearbox and petrol version are unlikely to be available in facelift model owing to poor demand.

The SUV will continue to be assembled at Audi’s Aurangabad plant and price is not expected to be increased by a significant amount.
Rivals of Audi Q3 facelift will include Mercedes Benz GLA, BMW X1 and the like.
