A leaked image from what looks like a presentation on 2016 Audi Q7 e-tron, has leaked. This leaked photo reveals some exciting information on world’s first plug-in hybrid with six cylinder engine and four wheel drive.
Audi Q7 e-tron techspecs leaked photo reveals that hybrid powertrain’s 3.0 TDI V6 diesel engine will deliver 258 hp, while the electric motor will add another 128 hp. Together, they will deliver 374 hp and 700 Nm torque to all four wheels via 8 speed tiptronic gearbox.
Average fuel consumption will stand at 1.7 liters per 100 km (or 58.8 kmpl) while in all electric mode, drive range is of 56 kms. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph will be achieved in 6 seconds, all electric acceleration from 0 to 59 kmph is achieved in 6.1 seconds while top speed is at 225 kmph.
Batteries doing duty on the Audi Q7 e-tron Quattro can be charged through a conventional plug in electric socket or via an onboard energy recovery system. The company has not disclosed any details on pricing of the Audi Q7 e-tron Quattro which is slated to be much higher than conventional variants.
