Audi R-Drive customer drive experience kicks off in Delhi, to visit 9 more Indian cities over the next two months (Photos)

Audi India kicked off unique drive experience campaign, Audi R-Drive, for their customers in India. Audi India will be visiting 10 Indian cities over the course of next two months with their award winning Audi RS5 and Audi R8 V10 Spyder sportscar. Audi R-Drive kicked off in Delhi on 17th this month, next stop is Chandigarh on 24th February, then to Ahmedabad on 2nd March, 16th March Mumbai, 23rd March Pune, 6th April Hyderabad, 13th April Bangalore. Audi R-Drive experience ends in Chennai on 20th April.

Audi R8 V10 Spyder is powered by a 5.2L V10 FSI engine generating maximum power of 518 bhp and peak torque of 530 Nm. Audi R8 Spyder shoots from 0-100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 333 kmph. Transmission options include 6 speed manual and 6 speed R-Tronic.

Audi RS5 is powered by a 4.2L V8 engine that generates 444 bhp and 317 Nm torque. Transmission is taken care by a 7 speed S-Tronic dual clutch. Audi RS5 has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph and it accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 4.6 seconds.

To make the experience even more exhilarating, Audi has put together a team of India’s most prominent motorsport experts at the helm of the event, guiding guests on how to handle these powerful machines.

Audi continued its remarkable performance in India by clocking sales of 667 cars in January 2012, a growth of    39 percent over the same period last year (480 cars: January 2011). The luxury carmaker ended the year 2011 with a sales record of 5511 cars from January to December 2011, a strong 84 percent growth over 2010’s performance (Jan-Dec 2010: 3003).

The Audi model range in India includes Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A7 Sportback, Audi A8 L, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi RS5 Coupé, the super sports car Audi R8 and the Audi R8 Spyder available across the country: in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Mumbai West, Pune and Surat.
