Audi Sportscar Experience: Drive R8 V10 sportscar at Buddh International Circuit (Photos)

Sportscar enthusiasts will be ecstatic to know that Audi India has launched a one of its kind driving experience in the country, thus giving auto enthusiasts a chance to receive special training on the Audi R8 V10 across the Buddh International Circuit (BIC), Greater Noida. BIC which was constructed in time for the first Indian GP, will now host Audi sportscarexperience (ASE) for the very first time. High performance cars and sports loving youngsters will get a chance to understand experience and be trained in an Audi R8 V10 on one of the most exciting racing circuits in the world.

The program is divided into an Audi racetrack experience in intermediary and advanced levels. Auto enthusiasts will be given a feel of the car and will be acquainted with the race track under instructions of a trainer before they proceed to take on both car and track on their own. In advanced stage, racers will be given in-depth knowledge of the racing line, steering techniques and tests. This will be available only to those who have completed racetrack experience and are capable of moving into advanced level.

These events are planned for 5th to 7th of July, while intermediary session will be conducted in July /August /September and advanced experience in October/November/December. Packages are available from Rs.98,000 to Rs.1,25,000.

Audi launches the Audi sportscarexperience (ASE) in India

Delhi: Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, today launched its unique driving experience program, the Audi sportscar experience (ASE), at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida. This is the first driving program in the country to be conducted exclusively with high performance sportscars, and gives enthusiasts the opportunity to understand, drive and receive intensive training in the exceptionally engineered Audi R8 V10.

The program offers one of the most attractive formats, with dynamic slalom and lap training modules, internationally acclaimed instructors, a fleet of powerful Audi R8 V10 cars (5.2 litre, 525 PS) and one of the most exciting racing circuits in the world.

The Audi sportscar experience is a 2 phase program:
•    Audi racetrack experience
•    Audi racetrack experience advanced

The racetrack experience focuses on sharpening a driver’s skills such as handling, steering, braking and sector training on a race-track, under the guidance of an instructor. The sector training is designed to acquaint a driver with all of the racetrack’sparticular features and work out the racing line one bit at a time, before they proceed to tackle the entire circuit.

On the other hand, the racetrack experience advanced focuses more on understanding the racing line, over and under steering and regularity tests to master the entire race circuit.This exclusive program promises the ultimate in dynamic performance and fun at the wheel.

“The advanced program will only be made available to those who complete the racetrack experience and are deemed eligible by our instructors to move ahead to the second level of the program.This unique concept will also give the participants an opportunity to enroll in an international race experience”, added Mr. Perschke.

The Audi sportscar experience caters to the sporty and the dynamic.Internationally, it is conducted on race tracks at Barcelona, the Nürburgring,the EuroSpeedwayLausitz, the Salzburgring, Dubai and in Spa, Belgium.

Audi India plans to expand its network to 25 dealerships by the end of 2012 from its existing 19 centres. Last year, the luxury carmaker opened new showrooms in Delhi South, Chennai, Ludhiana, Surat and Indore. Further developments include Lucknow and Mumbai South among others.
