The engine will be from S&S, a brand versed in building high performance engines used on V-twin cruisers and custom bikes.

Transmission will be from Rivera, also an America brand and Suspension will be from another American brand, Progressive. Tyres will be sourced from Avon and brake calipers from Beringer, a French manufacturer along with turn signals from Kellerman of Germany. Avantura Choppers is targeting a 7-8% market share for these 1600cc bikes in India and expected to reach sales of around 15,000 units over the next 5 years.

Even as the concept of choppers is popular among buyers in the West, this is for the first time that an Indian company is launching these bikes in India. ARAI tests are being carried out and there are 29 tests which have to be cleared which includes 16 component tests and 13 motorcycle tests. Noise, emission and other tests have been conducted and certifications are awaited prior to official launch in the country.
