Bajaj Avenger BSIII 150, 220 available at a discount of INR 10,000
Bajaj dealers are offering the BSIII variants of Avenger 150 and Avenger 220 at a discount of INR 10,000.
On the 29th of March 2017, Supreme Court of India upheld the ban on selling BSIII vehicles across India from 1st April onwards. With only 2 days at their disposal, many dealers are finding it difficult to sell at usual rates. Thus, they have announced heavy discounts on BSIII vehicles so that the stocks get cleared.
Speaking about the Bajaj Avenger 150 and 220 BSIII range, both of these are being offered at a flat discount of INR 10,000. This offer is only valid till stocks last. You can purchase the vehicle before midnight 31st March 2017.
One of the best selling Bajaj motorcycle, the Avenger brand registers in the upwards of 20,000 units a month. This is complete opposite of what the old Avenger used to register. In November 2014, the old Avenger (was available only with 220 c engine then) clocked around 3,300 units.
The company initially targeted a monthly sales of 9,000 units for the new Bajaj Avenger but now there seems to be a realistic chance of sustaining a volume of 12,000-15,000 units a month once the initial euphoria settles down. The new Avenger is available in Street 150, Street 220 and Cruise 220 variants.
The Street twins feature flatter handlebar, black theme and alloy wheels to lure youngsters whereas the Cruise 220 sports a taller handlebar, pillion back rest, dual-tone color theme, chrome elements and spoke wheels to attract touring enthusiasts.
